Afzan Pirzade is an interdisciplinary artist from India working between public art and studio practice. Self-taught, his work ranges from large-scale street murals to more restrained, often monochromatic canvases.
Public space plays a central role in his practice, where he responds to architecture, social context, and lived experience. Through colour, composition, and form, he explores perspective and the relationship between intention and interpretation, examining how meaning is constructed.
Engaging with themes of mortality, consciousness, and the afterlife, he employs surreal and symbolic imagery to navigate the space between inner and external realities.
