Guillem Font (ES/MX)
Guillem Font is a visual artist from Barcelona, currently working between Mexico City and Catalonia. His work has been presented through murals and exhibitions across Europe and the Americas.
His multidisciplinary practice spans drawing, illustration, printmaking, animation, scenography, and mural painting. Influenced by popular culture, scientific illustration, science fiction, and performance in public space, his work is rooted in a deep fascination with the textures and organic forms of flora and fauna.
Through large-scale, often monochromatic murals, he creates imaginary landscapes inhabited by hybrid plant and animal forms. These evolving ecosystems reflect on the growing disconnection between urban life and nature, suggesting a world where, through human neglect, the planet is gradually losing its colour.
